Some time ago, Hannan was born in New York to a struggling family who had three beautiful daughters, Abigail, Scarlett, and Hannan.
Hannan was the youngest sister with firey red hair and a sparky personality to match. Her older sisters made fun of her looks and dreams but that didn't stop Hannan from being the kindest, most loving of them all. The daughters had a mother and father who loved them dearly, but were fools with their money. When a terrible tragedy struck the family taking their parents away, the children were left without a penny to their name.
Abigail being the eldest sibling, supported her two younger sisters. Living month to month, Abigail came across a man named Ted who took pity upon her and her younger sisters. He supported them with the condition that Abigail must become his wife.
Will Abigail [[accept->Teds Wife]] or [[decline->Gets Job]] his offer? Poor, desperate Abigail accepted his offer not knowing his temper. Ted worked a very hard, stressful job on Wall Street. He would take his frustration out on Abigail, and her sisters. He could be rough and forceful but Abigail learned to love him anyways.

One afternoon she came across an add promising large sums of money for easy work. Abigial went to find out more about the job and brought her sisters with her. The girls soon found out that the mysterious job was actually an escort service. All three girls were offered jobs immediatly as their beauty had not been tarnished by their hardship. Abigial was so happy to be offered a job she accepted it immediately, Scarlett being the most timid sister bashfully declined, and Hannan's offer was rescinded when she told the madam her age of 16.

On the eve of Hannan's graduation Abigail went to bed early, tired from all the celebration leaving Hannan and Ted alone with their nightly tea. Ted leaned over to Hannan placed his hand on her knee and made her an offer. "Hannan, you are a beautiful girl, even more beautiful than your sister, you deserve to achieve your dreams. I will pay for you to go to the best school in New York, if you live here with me and when your sister goes to sleep, you let me into your bed".
Does Hannan [[accept]] or [[[deny-> Run away]]] his offer?
Hannan found a studio apartment for rent in the lower side of the city, and managed to scrounge together her first months rent. She was determined to make ends meet and hunted fot a job. With her head hung low, she walked by a diner with a large Help Wanted sign in the window. She walked in and begged for a job, told her employer of her despair and that she would do anything if she was hired. She was granted her request and started the next morning serving as a waitress.
[[Continue->Bill]]Hannan is shocked and disgusted at first but feels his warm hand on her leg and can't deny his attractive features. Hannan thinks to herself "He's so awful but all I've been dreaming about is school, if he can pay for it I can just go with no hassle". She stands up and leads him to her bedroom.
[[Continue->Bill2]] Hannan was horrified and could not imagine betraying her sister like that. She knew what he was capable of. When she refused his offer, Ted threatened to cut her off. That night Hannan sent love for her sisters, packed her bags, and took off in the morning dew going as far away as possible.
[[continue->Diner]] Her first customer was an old man who would never fail to show up at exactly 7 o'clock every morning. “A regular customer!” Hannan was thrilled that she would be able have consistent tip money to pay for her new apartment. He sat in the same corner booth beside the large dirty window, ordered dry rye toast and a black coffee everyday and always had the same grumpy demeanour.
The other waitresses were happy for the old man to be served by Hannan, so they didn't have to deal with his gruffness. Hannan didn’t mind the old man, he reminded her of her father and ended up looking forward to their conversations. She could see he wasn’t an old grumpy man for she saw softness in his pale blue eyes and had wondered about his life.
[[Continue->Lawyer]] One morning, when Hannan entered the diner excited to see Bill, there sat a man in his place. He was the strong silent type with a black suit, top hat and briefcase. The customer seemed unusual, his voice was low and reserved. He ordered just a coffee and finished quickly. When the man had left he did not leave a tip, but left an envelope on the table instead.
[[Read letter]] Hannan burst out crying “Alas! What has happened to Bill!” The letter contained the papers signing Bills Estate to Hannan with Bill’s signature at the bottom. Hannan was grateful and distraught.
Has Bill [[passed away]] or [[left a gift]]? Hannan hurried home, she needed some time to clear her mind and to decide how she would manage such a large sum of money.

By the end of summer she was accepted into Columbia School of Business. Using what was left of the inheritance to pay tuition and moved into her new dorm. She met her roommate Grace, a basic, middle class lady who was highly skilled at writing. She was majoring in Journalism and was two years her senior.
Going to such a prestigious school with lots of trust fund kids, it was easy for Hannan to join in the debauchery.
Self obsessed Hannan was driving Grace crazy. Finally, Grace snapped giving Hannan an ultimatum. “You have such a limited view on life. I would never aspire to obtain any of your morals or values. Either [[change]] or [[move out]]!”
The young man came out to join her on the balcony, he took off his mask and untied Hannans. He looked deep into Hannan's eyes and said "Hannan, my beauty you are the most graceful, gorgeous women I have ever seen, would you be my wife and we can spend everynight like tonight?"
Hannan was taken aback, this is what she had hoped for and the young man was very handsome. She looked back to the frivolous party and once more to the couple.
Will Hannan [[Marry the man]] or [[Enroll in School]] ? Hannan picked up the letter as anxiety and fear filled her heart, she opened it. It read;
“My dearest Hannan, you are a beacon of light in this darkening world. Your heart of gold is what will carry you far. I hope I can make your kindness reach even further, I leave you with my estate, use it wisely.”
[[Continue->Bills Fate]] Within a few weeks she decided to moved into a new apartment on the upper east side of the city, where the diner's require reservations and the people walk fast and abrupt.
Hannan was upset for her loss but was greatful for her new wealth and decided some retail therapy could help mend her woes and help her better fit in to her new community.
[[Continue->Make over]] Hannan replaced her old worn out wardrobe with expensive Louie Vuitton and Gucci, got her hair colored blonde, wore blue eye contacts and turned into a self absorbed New Yorker. She surrounded herself with superficial people who just liked to party and flaunt their wealth and Hannan quickly lost sight of her dream of school.
[[Continue->Facebook]] Hannan let her spending get so out of hand she only had a little money left avaible to her. So, she decided to go out with a bang, she created a Facebook event inviting all to what was to be an epic masquerade penthouse party. She held it that weekend hoping to draw a large crowd and some potential suitors before all her money was gone.
[[Continue->Party]] The penthouse filled up with the most eloquent of men and dazzling women. The mystery of who was behind the mask, filled the room with curiosity and flirtation. A curious looking man with a tailored grey suit pursued Hannan throughout the night re-filling her drinks. She didn’t know what to think of him at the time but was enjoying the attention. He watched her from afar as she danced through the crowd to the music. In the early morning light, Hannan gazed around the room at her friends, listening to their frivolous banter and watching them obsess over their looks. She walked out to her balcony and watched a young couple reading together loveingly in the park across the street. She wondered if she was really happy, had she chosen the right life?
[[Continue->The Man]] Hannan agreed to marry the man. He was handsome, kind, and rich what more did she need?
[[Continue->Regret]] With only one more semester left of university Hannan woke up bright and early to go the diner where she had met Bill. She sat in same the booth Bill always sat in, ordered her coffee and was lost in thought when a man came and sat across from her.

“I have learned the power of sincere and selfless contribution, life’s deepest joy: true fulfillment. I saw your kindness and thought you would be creative and spread it to others.” Bill explained.
Hannan sighed, “At first I didn’t know how to manage such a large sum of money, I wasted so much on material things that did me no good. I have had so many adventures, some hard, some freeing, much of my fortune is thanks to you. Is there any way I can repay you for all the lessons you’ve allowed me to learn?”
He smiled “Stay humble kid”.
Bill paid for both of their toast and coffee and got up to get on with his day, he was just about to walk outside the diner when Hannan called out
“Once a week I want to meet you for toast and coffee, 7:00a.m, here in this booth, my treat. You are like a father to me and I wouldn’t be the women I am today if it wasn’t for you.” Hannan pleaded
Bill nodded, and was swept away with the crowd outside the diner.
The man sat down at the booth and asked the waitress to bring him a black coffee and toast. She examined his features and thought to herself that he looked an awful lot like Bill. He introduced himself and told her that his father had loved coming here and sometimes he comes to remember his memory.
Hannan smiled and said "I'm here to remember a dear friend as well". Hannan went into her room and did some self reflecting, she looked at some old photos of her family and missed them dearly. She found the letter that Bill had given her. Hannan started to cry and looked into her red framed oversized mirror. She became dizzy and light headed then fainted for a few minutes.
